Nokia N93 belongs to Nokia's music and entertainment focused high end mobile series. This phone is unique in design and style. As far as style and fashion is considered this mobile is perfect and clearly a winner. The form factor of the phone is clamshell but the top panel swivels on the right side of the large lens tube which is positioned on the top of the phone in closed position.
This phone uses Carl Zeiss optical zoom combined with Vario Tessar lens and offers 3x optical zoom which helps you to capture great shots with ease. The lens is positioned on the left side of the lens tube and is protected by the plastic cap. Right below the lens is the powerful LED which is used as flash light. The right side of the phone is completely dedicated for camera functionalities. The end of the lens tube has a zoom lever used to adjust the zoom level, inside it you can see a button with red dot it is used as a shutter key. Below it is an exact copy of the navigation D - Pad, which is useful when the screen is rotated in camera mode. Below this navigation pad there is a button which is used to toggle between the still camera and video camera mode. Below this key is another button which is used to turn on or off the flash. This button can be used even when the clamshell is closed so you can use the LED as a normal light.
The key pad also looks very attractive and even. The dimensions of this phone are 108 x 58 x 25 mm, occupy about 115 cc in space and weigh around 163 grams making it little heavy. This phone is available in two attractive colours Silver and Black.
This phone has an amazing 2.4 inches wide TFT screen which can display 16 million colours at a maximum resolution of 240 x 320 pixels on the 36 x 48 mm screen. It also has a small secondary OLED display which can display 65 thousand colours at a maximum resolution of 128 x 36 pixels. Don't expect too much from this external display it is used to just display time, incoming call details, missed call and other type of alerts and the music track.
It has a powerful 3.15 Mega pixel camera which can capture images at a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and can also record videos in VGA format at a maximum resolution of 30 frames per second. This phone has a secondary CIF video call camera for making video calls.
Nokia N93 has internal memory of 50 MB, 64 MB SDRAM, dual ARM 11 332 MHz CPU with 3D graphics HW accelerator. If you wish to extend the memory then use a miniSD card according to your need and it is hot swappable.
